"Thursday, 9 APR 2009, this was our first visit to this WONDERFUL hidden treasure! We were greeted with such warmth and everyone (staff and patrons) had smiles on their faces! We ordered the special, smothered pork chops. I think they need to change the name to HEAVEN on a PLATE! The green berry tea was so refreshing. The dessert of the day happened to be banana pudding...YUMMMMMMMMMMM is all I could manage to mutter out between bites! And the atmosphere was like being at a friend’s house, warm, inviting and comfortable. I could go on and on (as I already have) but this is my new FAVORITE place!

"Oh my goodness! How on earth have I lived in the area for an entire year and did not know about this place?! It is by far the areas best kept secret! I had the pulled pork special. The pork is unbelievably seasoned to perfection, topped with coleslaw and breaded fried onions which were deliciously seasoned and fried, I have to say it again, perfectly!  I had the red beans and rice for my side, whoa momma! I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Wonderful home-cooked meals, great atmosphere and very friendly staff and owner. I can’t wait for my next visit!"
